This is the revamped version of our family website, which will hopefully be a lot less troublesome to maintain. It is based on my own, purpose built content management system. (If you know anyone who is struggling to keep their site up to date then please get them to give me a call!).
SLIOCH?
Elisabeth and David both love 'the mountains' and the Scottish mountains in and around Torridon are particularly special to us. Our first real taste of these mountains was for the 1993 New Year week which we spent walking with a group of friends.
We didn't climb Slioch on that occasion, but its' imposing beauty and sheer presence clearly made an impression on David. So much so that on our return in July 1994 he proposed to Elisabeth on the summit!
We don't get to visit the area as often as we would like, especially now that we are living in Canada.
